Job Title : Trainee Mechanical Fitter

Location : Eastleigh

Pay Rate : £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (PAYE)

Temp to perm Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking Trainee Mechanical Fitters to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Eastleigh. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment with the potential for long-term work.

Key Responsibilities :

Assisting in the mechanical fitting of various products
Learning to work from engineering drawings
Using hand tools and equipment safely
Supporting the team in meeting tight tolerances and quality standards

Requirements :

Some basic mechanical knowledge or relevant qualifications (e.g., college course, apprenticeship, or hands-on experience)

(example) HNC / HND / NVQ / City and guilds / BTEC Mechanical

Willingness to learn and develop mechanical fitting skills

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

A good work ethic and attention to detail

Additional Information :

Overtime available, paid at enhanced rates (time and a half after 8 hours / day, Saturdays at time and a half, Sundays at double time)

Full training and supervision provided
