Job Title : Data Centre Analyst

Work Location :

Wokingham (3 days a week)

The Role

Data Centre Analyst

Your Responsibilities

Ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the data centre estate to protect housed services.

Conducting regular IT asset audits to uphold data accuracy and compliance.

Maintaining accuracy in the Nlyte or equivalent DCIM tool to monitor capacity limits.

Managing changes and risks through the Change Control Process.

Raising change or incident tickets, as necessary.

Providing incident management support within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Representing the data centre estate in CABs, workshops, and multidisciplinary events.

Validating technical designs to ensure safe housing and supportability.

Delivering data centre inductions and maintaining access records to meet safety requirements.

Preparing for and completing all required audits.

Your Profile

Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Engineering, or related field.

10+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 5 years in GIS platforms.

Proven experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

Strong understanding of geospatial technologies (e.g., ESRI, QGIS, FME, GeoServer).

Experience with legacy GIS systems (Intergraph, Smallworld) and data migration.

Familiarity with AI / ML applications in geospatial data quality and analytics.

Agile delivery experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
