Care Assistant - Earlies

Local Opportunities for experienced Care Assistants within Burton on Trent! You will be working in a beautifully maintained residential care home that supports up to 27 elderly residents, many of whom are living with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s. In this role, you will follow tailored care plans to ensure each resident receives the highest standard of support. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide warm, compassionate care that truly enhances the quality of life for each resident, no matter the circumstance. Don’t have a valid DBS and/or training?? Do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

Responsibilities

• Follow tailored care plans to ensure each resident receives the highest standard of support.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, bathing, and dressing.
• Support mobility and nutritional needs.
• Promote both physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Have referenceable work history
• Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
• Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.

This is an ongoing position for work

As a Care Assistant you will be working between Monday to Friday with hours being 08:00 to 15:00

The rate of pay for this role is £12.21 per hour
