Are you an experienced Social Worker ready to step up and make a real difference in children’s lives? Northamptonshire Children’s Trust is looking for passionate Senior Social Workers to join our Children in Care Team – where relationships matter, and every decision is about securing the best future for young people.

The Role

As a Senior Social Worker, you’ll :

  • Hold oversight of children in care, including those in legal proceedings and those with long-term care plans.
  • Build meaningful, strength-based relationships with children, families, and carers.
  • Lead assessments, coordinate multi-agency approaches, and ensure effective planning.
  • Mentor colleagues and support their development (opportunity to work towards Practice Educator qualification).

This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where you’ll collaborate closely with our Leaving Care Service and external partners to deliver the very best outcomes.

About You

You’ll be :

  • A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England .
  • Experienced in children’s services and ready to step into a senior role.
  • An excellent communicator who can influence, challenge, and inspire others.
  • Passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children, young people, and families.
