Overview:
Deliver engaging tutorial sessions, provide personalised student support, and address barriers to learning to help students thrive academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:
Tutorial Delivery:

• Conduct weekly group and one-on-one tutorial sessions to help students excel in their studies.
• Support attendance, progression, and address barriers to learning through tailored interventions.

Pastoral Care & Progression:

• Offer compassionate pastoral care, addressing challenges like mental health, homelessness, and safeguarding issues.
• Plan and implement activities to support students’ academic and personal progression.
• Coordinate with staff, parents, and external services to meet individual needs.
• Support induction for late enrollers and liaise with feeder schools regarding support needs.
• Act as a Safeguarding Team member, responding to referrals and promoting British Values, safeguarding, and Prevent initiatives.

Attendance & Behaviour Support:

• Address attendance and behaviour concerns with practical strategies and escalate issues if needed.
• Regularly communicate with parents/carers to resolve concerns and celebrate achievements.

General Duties:

• Ensure safeguarding, health, safety, and equality standards are upheld.
• Participate in training and development as required.
• Support college policies and promote core values like equality and British Values.

Must Have:

• Experienced in student support and tutorial delivery.
• Skilled in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration.
• Passionate about helping students overcome challenges and succeed.
