Assembly Technician

Overview

Elemental Machines is looking for an experienced Assembly Technician. The Assembly Technician is responsible for in-house building of Elemental Machines IoT devices and associated cables and peripherals. In this role you perform final assembly on devices, build cables and maintain accurate records. There is a wide mix of devices which results in a variety of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly on IoT devices
• Flash IoT devices with operating systems and application software
• Build cable assemblies and harnesses to connect IoT devices to peripherals, which includes occasional soldering
• Assist with incoming inspection on devices that are manufactured at contract manufacturers or returned from the field
• Rework of printed circuit board assemblies, when necessary
• Assist with inventory management
