About the role : We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly adapt and hit the ground running, working closely alongside a very experienced Year 2 teacher. You will lead a confident, mixed-ability class with no EHCPs, but who are eager and willing to challenge their teacher. The role requires a strong, confident educator who can manage full classroom teacher responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessments, and attending staff meetings. A Teaching Assistant is shared between the two Year 2 classes to support learning. - Proven experience as a Year 2 Teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the confidence to engage a lively and challenging class.
- Ability to work effectively with a shared Teaching Assistant across both Year 2 classes.
- Flexibility and adaptability to step into the role quickly and make an immediate positive impact.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Key Responsibilities :
