Salary Guide : £45,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

Our client is an established media group with a strong presence across digital and broadcast platforms. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will work in a broad and varied role, working with numerous stakeholders and managing a team. The successful candidate will have excellent academics and a strong ambition to progress in their career and professional qualifications.

Description

The duties and responsibilities for this Finance Manager role include, but are not limited to :

Lead a growing Finance team, overseeing and managing junior members.
Manage reporting and the yearly audit.
Manage the monthly group management accounting.
Oversee and manage the company’s credit control processes, ensuring timely collections, maintaining healthy cash flow, and minimising bad debts.
Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including performance reviews, forecasting and variance analysis.
Lead the preparation and coordination of annual group external audits.
Support the maintenance of a robust financial control.

Skills

The skills and experience required for this Finance Manager role include, but are not limited to :

Excellent academics, minimum A

and A for A-levels, and a First-Class or 2 : 1 from a top university.

Relevant post-university finance experience.

Currently pursuing or keen on pursuing ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is desirable.

Good Sage skills are desirable.

Strong attention to detail and an excellent work ethic.

Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
