HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER Garretts Green, Birmingham, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Garretts Green, Birmingham, West Midlands . • Monday to Friday – start times between 4 : 30am and 10 : 00am
• Trunking work
• 1 drop per shift Rates of Pay
• £17.00 per hour Benefits

• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties
• Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required)
• Operating and driving HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all cargo is correctly loaded and secured
• Adhering to UK road traffic laws and regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues
• Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category CE Licence
• Minimum 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six points for minor infringements (no major endorsements)
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and time-keeping
• Strong understanding of road transport regulations
• Effective communication skills Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided
• Driver assessment required prior to start
