Progress Teachers are working to appoint experienced Learning Support Assistants to support a local mainstream secondary school in its mission to widen accessibility for all pupils. The successful candidate will work closely with a caseload of pupils, aiding them to develop the tools needed to overcome barriers to learning and make academic and personal progress.Responsibilities :
- Supporting class teachers / the SENDCO with day-to-day tasks
- Following the school’s rules and implementing the school’s ethos and values
- Being enthusiastic and promoting high expectations for pupils
- Supporting students 1 : 1 and in small groups
- Attending CPD to help you develop professional tools necessary to support a range of pupils with diverse SEN or SEMH requirements.
- Building and maintaining a positive relationship with students, whilst being a resilient character
