Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Estimator for a client, based in Aberdeenshire.

The client, a progressive civil engineering and construction contractor serving the northeast of Scotland, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape tender strategies, influence contract outcomes, and contribute to the company’s continued growth across infrastructure, groundworks, and public sector projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyse tender documents and produce accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and construction projects
• Prepare and submit competitive bids, including pre-contract risk and opportunity appraisals
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to inform pricing and build relationships
• Ensure cost accuracy, compliance, and value-engineering across all bids
• Work closely with the commercial and operational teams to deliver winning strategies
