Location – Accrington

Salary - £35,000 - £41,000

Puro Associates are delighted to be supporting an Accountancy practice in Accrington in their search for a full-time permanent Senior Accountant to join their friendly well-established team of accountancy professionals.

You will play a crucial role in working with a diverse range of clients, providing comprehensive accounting services and financial guidance.

Responsibilities for the Accounts Senior Job :

  • Prepare annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns.
  • Provide financial advice and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Assist junior team members, offering training and support as necessary.
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business growth and development.

    • Requirements of the Accounts Senior Job :

  • Ideally ACCA or ACA qualified, however QBE will be considered
  • Will need 3+ years within a UK accountancy firm.
  • Friendly disposition and a team player
  • Effective communicator, comfortable communicating with clients and peers at all levels
