We are currently seeking enthusiastic Allied Health Assistants to join our team at Dorset Rehabilitation Centre (Pascoe Vale) on a casual basis. Shifts are offered across our weekday and weekend services.

Doyou have a commitment to teamwork and excellence in customer service delivery Do you want to provide clinical and administrative assistance to Allied Health Professionals to ensure the delivery of a high-quality rehabilitation service If so we want to hear from you!

As an Allied Health Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of customer service and clinical care to patients/significant others
• Working under the direction and supervision of allied health clinicians including physiotherapists & occupational therapists to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals

Our sites offer a friendly and supportive staff environment with our established multidisciplinary teams servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.

Selection Criteria:

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or current physiotherapy/occupational therapy student
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritise workload meet deadlines manage time effectively and complete activities
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with or providing care to people in a health care setting and/or a basic understanding of therapy programs
