We're seeking an experienced CNC CAM 5 Axis Programmer / Setter to support programming, setup, and production across milling operations - working primarily with HAAS machinery and SolidCAM.

Key Responsibilities :
Programme 5 Axis CNC milling machines using CAD CAM software (ideally SolidCAM)Set up and operate CNC machines when required, including proving out programs and running low volume productionSupervise CNC operators, delegate tasks, and support their developmentWork to detailed engineering drawings, maintaining a "right-first-time" standardSupport production planning and scheduling, ensuring component availability for assembly requirementsRecommend improvements to tooling, setups, and machining processes to enhance productivityCoordinate material and tooling requirements, and manage associated paperwork and data entry using Sage 200Ensure housekeeping, safety, and quality standards are maintained in line with ISO9001 : 2015Skills & Experience :
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar programming and machining roleProficient in 5 Axis CNC programming - HAAS experience highly desirableCAD CAM proficiency (SolidCAM preferred - others considered)Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawingsComfortable working with a range of materials (aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel)Knowledge of cavity and custom form toolingFamiliar with goods inwards inspection, use of gauges, and ISO9001 : 2015 quality proceduresSage 200 or similar ERP system experienceHND / HNC in Mechanical Engineering - desirableExperience quoting machining times and component costingCommercial awareness and confident communication with suppliers and customersReady to bring your CNC expertise to a forward-thinking team delivering quality without compromise?
