Multi Skilled Operative - Carpentry Bias

Chew Valley Construction Limited are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Operative with a strong carpentry background to join our Fabric Maintenance team. Youll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance works across a variety of sites, including multi-tenanted office buildings, retail parks, low-rise residential flats / dwellings, and commercial premises.

For this role it is essential you meet the following criteria :

Proven experience in a similar role, with a working knowledge of fabric maintenance services within the FM (Facilities Management) industry

A solid background in carpentry , with the ability to undertake repair and maintenance tasks involving doors, frames, fittings, and general woodwork

Experience working in commercial environments

Ability to maintain and repair a variety of general building fabric items

A clean UK driving licence

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable using electronic tablets to complete forms, take site photos, and use email

Experience in additional trades such as painting, patch repairs, toilet flush mechanisms will be an advantage

Ideally based within a 15 mile radius of Bristol.

This position offers varied and interesting work across a diverse range of properties, a competitive hourly rate, on 40 hours a week. There are opportunities to work additional hours to complete tasks .

Rates negotiable for the right applicants.
