Finance Officer (SO Level)

The Ideal Person A qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or equivalent OR hold a relevant equivalent qualification in accounting or financial management from a recognised member of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) or CIMA. AND 3 Years relevant experience. Responsibilities Overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure all procedures are completed accurately and on schedule. Reviewing and interpreting financial information and performance data. Administering monthly accounting activities for designated offices and associated bodies. Managing and monitoring the annual budget throughout the year, including monthly profiling, variance analysis, and financial reporting. Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts and associated financial reports. Coordinating the preparation and completion of consolidated annual accounts within agreed deadlines. Supervising the monthly payroll function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
