Multi skilled engineer....nights

We’re recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join a well‑established food manufacturing site in Hamilton. This facility has a long heritage in craft bakery and produces a wide range of high‑volume, high‑quality products for major UK retailers and well‑known brands.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this varied and hands‑on role, you will play a key part in maintaining and improving production performance across the site. Responsibilities include :

Carrying out daily maintenance on production equipment

Responding to breakdowns, completing fault‑finding and repairs efficiently

Identifying root causes and accurately recording work completed through the CMMS

Delivering planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules

Ensuring all work meets food safety, health & safety, legal and quality standards

Supporting continuous improvement and site project work

Suggesting and implementing improvements to machinery, production lines and processes

Working closely with operations teams and building strong stakeholder relationships
