Overview

Job Description : Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Responsibilities

  • Respond to moulding breakdowns in a busy production environment.
  • Undertake preventative maintenance and servicing of mould tools.
  • Diagnose mould faults and carry out repairs.
  • Work with production teams to prioritise breakdowns effectively.
  • Carry out precision machining including EDM, milling, turning and grinding.
  • Prepare new mould tooling for production.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping (5S).
  • Adhere to health and safety expectations and standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience of working with injection moulding tooling.
  • Successful completion of an approved apprenticeship including ONC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
  • Proven machining and welding skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
