Overview
The asset finance role is for a London-based legal team member on a 6-month contract at a niche B2B financial institution. This equity-funded bank supports strategic investments in infrastructure, digitalisation, and sustainability across Europe.
Role responsibilities
- Structuring, drafting, and negotiating asset finance documentation (leasing, hire purchase, sale & leaseback, refinancing)
- Updating and maintaining financing templates and policy documents
- Collaborating with external counsel on transaction structures
- Reviewing project finance documentation for syndicated credit facilities
- Supporting a portfolio that includes both regulated and unregulated assets
This is a hands-on, commercially driven role requiring someone who can work flexibly across bespoke transactions and isn’t reliant solely on LMA precedents.
