Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school located in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking a KS2 Class Teacher to start in September. The school are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for the early development of young students along with a positive and enthusiastic attitude they can bring to the school community. This is a great opportunity for an ECT looking to complete their folder or an experienced Primary Teacher looking for a new role.

About the role :

  • Start-date : September 1
  • Long-term position
  • Great location with excellent transport links between Congleton and Macclesfield

As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons which follow the national curriculum and incorporate the schools core values. You will work closely with support staff to assess and monitor student progress, creating and implementing individualised learning plans when necessary. Additionally, you will communicate progress with members of SLT and parents / carers, creating good rapports.

What we’re looking for :

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience working within a primary school is necessary for this role
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and current teaching / behavioural management techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and other members of staff

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
