Art Worker (print packaging)

Location : Barnsley, UK

Salary : Up to £35,000 per annum

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering with is a leading importer and distributor of a wide range of products, catering to various industries. With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they specialise in sourcing and delivering innovative products to meet their clients' diverse needs.

They are expanding their design team and seeking a dedicated Print Packaging Art Worker. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective packaging of printed materials, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production deadlines.

Duties :

  • Operate and maintain packaging machinery, including printers, laminators, and cutters
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met at all times
  • Prepare materials for printing, including loading paper, adjusting settings, and performing quality checks
  • Collaborate with the production team to prioritise orders and meet deadlines
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed
  • Manage inventory levels of packaging materials and replenish supplies as required
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and materials usage

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in print packaging or a related field
  • Proficiency in operating packaging machinery and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
