Service Care Solutions is delighted to be supporting a forward-thinking local authority, based in Nottinghamshire , which needs an experienced Planning Solicitor or Barrister to take on the role of Lead Planning Lawyer within their legal services team.

The Role

As the Council’s Lead Planning Lawyer, you will :

• Advise on all aspects of planning law, with a focus on major minerals and waste developments and the complex legal agreements that accompany them.
• Provide expert legal input on planning applications, appeals, enforcement, and inquiries .
• Advise on highway-related legal matters as required.
• Play a key role in mentoring junior staff , including supporting the professional development of a graduate solicitor apprentice .
