REACH TRUCK DRIVER & WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

ROTATING SHIFT : MONDAY - FRIDAY 7.00AM - 3.00PM / 3.00PM - 11.00PM

14.22 PER HOUR

18.87 - £25.16 PER HOUR OVERTIME

People Solutions are looking for REACH TRUCK DRIVERS for our client.

You will be operating a Reach Truck but, when off the Truck, you will need to perform some warehouse duties.

Day to Day Duties Being an FLT / Warehouse Operative :

Your responsibilities as a Reach Truck Driver will include but are not limited to :

  • Driving / Operating a Reach Truck
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner
  • Moving and transporting stock into the correct areas of the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading vehicles and pallets from vehicles
  • Receiving and unpacking incoming goods and taking inventories as required
  • Organising stock for deliveries and wrapping and securing
  • Stacking and stowing pallets away
  • Adhering to Health & Safety at all times and promoting a safe working environment
  • Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Organising stock for deliveries and reporting any stock difference to Management
  • Promoting a safe work environment and reporting any safety concerns or issues to Management
  • Clearing work area of any debris and keeping the traffic routes clear of obstructions
  • Reporting faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Essential Skills

  • Valid Reach Truck Licence
  • Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to deadlines
  • Good spatial awareness

    • Desirable Experience

  • Experience working in a warehouse or assembly environment is an advantage but full training will be provided.
