Position : HGV Technician

Location : Widnes

Salary : £44,000 - £47,000 per annum – flexible DOE

Shift : Nights (4 or 5 per week)

Hours : 6pm-6am (Poss flexible)

Benefits : Paid breaks, retention bonus paid at 6 months & 1 year, overtime available and paid at an enhanced role

HGV Technician role

Opportunity to join a leading logistics provider as an HGV Technician where you will be responsible for carrying out the full range of Inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair procedures on HGVs and tankers across a night shift.

If you are looking for a night shift in Widnes please get in touch as we can be flexible on both the hours / shift pattern and hourly rate offered

HGV Technician duties

Inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of HGVs and tankers
To undertake all work to a minimum of MOT standard
Application of preventative maintenance routines.
To accurately use and interpret outputs from vehicle diagnostic equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines.

HGV Technician experience / qualifications required

Be a fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair

Class 1 or 2 would be beneficial but not essential
