The Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will :

Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on critical manufacturing plant and mechanical equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Respond to reactive maintenance requests, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues across heavy machinery.

Interpret mechanical drawings and manuals to diagnose faults and implement fixes quickly and efficiently.

Work closely with a team of engineers and report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring high standards are maintained.

Maintain safety protocols while working at heights or within confined spaces when necessary.

We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you'll need :

Time-served apprenticeship or similar relevant qualifications in mechanical maintenance.

Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within the manufacturing industry (preferably with heavy machinery).

Strong fault-finding skills, with the ability to quickly assess and resolve mechanical issues.

Ability to work safely at heights and within confined spaces as required.

A proactive attitude, with a focus on continuous improvement.
