HGV 2 Driver

Overview

Driver Hire Motherwell are currently looking for Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to work on various contracts throughout ML, G67 and G68 postcode areas.

Responsibilities

• Pump hire deliveries
• Store deliveries
• Window & doors deliveries to residential areas
• General Haulage
• Flooring deliveries
• Timber deliveries
• Wholesale deliveries
• Deliveries to building and construction sites
• Handball may be required

Additional skills

• Tippers
• IPAF
• HIAB

Requirements

• A Class 2 licence
• CPC card & Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience (preferred but not essential for some roles)
• No more than 6 points on your licence*
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements*

Due to the nature of this role, previous experience within a similar field dealing with heavy manual handling would be advantageous. Some insurance restrictions may apply. Contact us for more information.

Rate of pay

• £14.00 per hour via PAYE
• Holiday accrual included
• We also have the option to go on an alternative PAYE model with holiday allowance included in an enhanced pay rate.
