Hours of Work : Full-time 38.5 hours per week

Four days per week : 8 : 00 AM 5 : 30 PM

One half-day per week : either 8 : 00 AM 12 : 30 PM or 1 : 00 PM 5 : 30 PM

This is a unique opportunity to be among the first Tutors at HMP Millsike, a brand-new prison near York, shaping the education programme from Spring 2025 onwards. As a Functional Skills Maths & English Tutor, you will play a crucial role in delivering City & Guilds Functional Skills qualifications (Entry Level 1 to Level 2) to a class of 12 learners, helping them develop vital skills for their future.

This role requires a creative and engaging teaching approach, with a focus on learner-centred education and restorative practices to promote personal growth and rehabilitation.
