Teaching Assistant - 1 : 1 SEN Support (ASD & Behaviour) - Haringey

An inclusive Primary School in Haringey, North London is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1 : 1 SEN support to a pupil with ASD and significant behavioural needs.

This is a rewarding yet challenging Teaching Assistant role, ideal for someone with strong behaviour management skills and a passion for supporting children with additional needs.

In this Teaching Assistant role, you will :

Provide consistent 1 : 1 support throughout the school day

Support emotional regulation and behaviour management

Deliver structured activities and interventions

Liaise with the SENCo and teaching staff regularly

The successful Teaching Assistant will have :

Strong experience supporting ASD and behaviour

Confidence working 1 : 1 with SEN pupils

A patient, resilient, and proactive approach

Experience in primary schools, SEN schools, or PRUs

Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through us.
