Mobile Plant Fitter - Frog Island, Rainham Essex

£45,432.92 per annum

41 hours per week - Mon-Fri

The successful candidate will be a certified Fitter / Mechanic who will be responsible for repairing and maintaining mobile plant to ensure utmost reliability and safety whilst reducing downtime.  Working as part of a small team, you must be willing to perform tasks outside of the role description.

Key Responsibilities :

• Providing technical support to all mobile plant operations
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks around the ELWA sites
• Repairing mobile plant around the ELWA sites
• Anticipate mobile plant failures and make such changes or recommendations to prevent reoccurrence to minimize downtime
• Using hand tools, welding equipment, powered hand tools and cutting equipment
• Ensuring H&S standards are maintained, and all related documentation is completed
• Liaising with external contractors on specific repairs / maintenance work
• Travelling and working between ELWA Sites as and when required.
