36.5 hours a week with an early finish on a Friday!

07.30 – 16.00 Mon - Thurs, 07.20 - 12 : 00 on a Friday (or you can start 30 mins later / finish 30 mins later)

Up to £25.21 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rates up to £34.22- depending on experience

We’re looking for a Buyer to join a world leading manufacturer of construction and off highway machinery on an initial 12 month contract, which is likely to be ongoing for the right person! What the Buyer’s remit involves :

• Support delivery of a lean, responsive, and resilient material and services flow for the facility from source to dock and additional required points
• Recognise the potential for cost and inventory reductions, quality improvement, as well as responsibility for soundness of business proposals and risk assessment and then work with the correct internal teams to deliver
• Operate and monitor the supply network procurement functions to meet the defined response time, cost, quality, and lean targets enabling optimal and efficient facility operations.
• Collaborate with business partners and suppliers and resolve facility specific supplier issues
• Manage global suppliers
• Travel : approx. up to 5% of the time
