Inflammatory Bowel Disease Staff Nurse.
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Staff Nurse at St. Mark's Hospital.
St. Mark's Hospital is an internationally renowned centre of excellence located within London North West University Healthcare (LNWH) NHS Trust.
You will be based in our 6 bedded day unit and supporting patients receiving biological therapy for IBD, and be part of the wider IBD team at St Mark's Hospital, including nurses, gastroenterologists, surgeons, dieticians, pharmacists, psychologists and a full IBD MDT.

Main duties of the job
Our specialist IBD day unit is a dynamic and busy nurse led unit, open 5 days a week and providing care to approximately 100 patients weekly. You will join a team of nurses responsible for the day to day management of the unit, including screening and scheduling patients for treatment, counselling patients and providing support and education about therapies and IBD, clinical assessment, and administering IV treatments. There are opportunities to develop your own knowledge and skills and support and training will be provided.
