Asset Management Director

About You

• Proven track record in senior leadership within utilities, infrastructure, or asset-intensive industries.
• Deep knowledge of electricity transmission or related energy networks
• Strong understanding of asset management principles (ISO 55000 desirable) and lifecycle cost optimisation.
• Experience of operating within a regulated environment, with direct engagement with regulators and government.
• Strategic thinker with ability to balance long-term vision with short-term operational needs.
• Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to safety, sustainability, and driving net zero outcomes.

About The Role

The Director of Asset Management is accountable for the long-term stewardship, performance, and resilience of the electricity transmission network. This role ensures that NGET's assets are managed safely, reliably, sustainably, and cost-effectively, delivering value for customers, stakeholders, and shareholders, while supporting the UK's transition to a net zero energy system.
