What you will do:

• Lead and supervise a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality support and outcomes for children with disabilities and their families
• Develop and implement effective strategies and policies that support the team in delivering exceptional service
• Manage and monitor caseloads, prioritising the needs and welfare of children while maintaining high standards
• Collaborate with partner agencies, families, and communities to ensure a comprehensive approach to children’s services
• Provide expert guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive team culture

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in social work
• Current registration with Social Work England
• Significant managerial experience, including roles as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager
• Extensive frontline experience in children’s services, specifically working within disabilities support
