Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a very prestigious wine company, supplying premium and high-value wines to luxury restaurants across London and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused individual to join a large, well established business handling specialist, high-end products.

This role combines multidrop van driving and warehouse support duties, requiring accuracy, care, and excellent customer service skills. Please note, you will be helping to load your own van before you leave for the day.

Due to the premium nature of the products, all deliveries must be handled with exceptional care and attention. The wines are of extremely high value, and boxes must be transported, handled, and delivered with precision to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. The company’s owners are deeply passionate about their business and take great pride in the quality of their service and reputation. Location

Based onsite in Mitcham (CR4)

The successful candidate must make their own way to and from the site daily. A company van will be collected from and returned to site each day.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

07.30 – 16 : 00 (approximate finish time)

14.00 per hour

13-week temporary to permanent opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Following delivery manifests to ensure accurate and timely deliveries

Delivering high-value wines to restaurants with care and precision

Providing excellent customer service at delivery points

Maintaining clear communication with customers and the team

Supporting warehouse operations when required - including loading the van in the morning

Ensuring safe handling and transport of premium products

Completing all delivery documentation accurately

Requirements

Previous van driving experience (Driving experience in London is highly desirable)

Strong communication and customer service skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Careful and professional approach when handling high-value goods

Warehouse experience desirable but not essential

Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
