Wind Turbine Technician[1175045]

Windtechs provides a range of services to clients, including annual and intermediate services on original equipment, manufacturer (OEM) factory manual specification annual inspections, major component replacement, including all electrical, mechanical and hydraulic works, optimum sourcing of replacement parts, oil sampling and analysis and high voltage (HV) switching.

The successful Wind Turbine Technician will be working alongside RSK group businesses – over 200 companies, utilising Windtechs’ engineering skill set to enhance the ability to provide a whole turbine service.

Role Responsibilities:

• Servicing Wind Turbines
• Fault diagnostics
• Turbine repair
• Retrofit
• Major Component exchanges
• On call and overtime applies after successful completion and authorisation as a Competent Technician under the WTSR

Qualifications and Experience:

• Electrical/mechanical maintenance experience required.
• Self-motivated & team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Driving licence

Salary and Benefits:

• £34,000 per annum rising to £38,000 after successful completion of Authorised Technician status under the WTSR
• 1 in 3 weekends on call, standby payments of £2.5k per annum + overtime
• 33 days holiday including BHs.
