Our client has a fantastic reputation within their field, and joining their team would be a great step for your personal development and career progression.Reporting to the Financial Controller, they are seeking a personable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Accounts Administrator to support their busy finance team. They are looking for someone eager to learn, who is happy to assist with a variety of tasks, no matter how big or small.Key responsibilities will include : Scanning and processing high volume of purchase ledger invoicesReconciling supplier statementsHandling supplier queriesData entry onto their bespoke accounting softwarePosting and allocating paymentsAssisting with daily bank reconciliationsSupporting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc finance administration tasksPreparing basic reports for managementFiling invoices and financial documentsMaintaining financial records and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel work)Assisting the Credit Controller with raising sales invoicesAssisting with customer account queriesOur client is ideally looking for someone with some previous experience in a similar role. However, the key requirement is a strong desire to learn and grow within the organisation. Confidence in using Microsoft Excel, particularly with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, is essential.This is a permanent, full-time role offering an excellent opportunity to build a career in the accountancy profession.
