Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting for experienced warehouse operative on behalf of our client to support day-to-day operations within a busy and well-organised environment. This is a permanent, hands-on role that involves a high level of manual work, with limited forklift truck use.

The Role

Duties will include :

• Picking and packing orders for dispatch
• Forklift truck Driving
• Manual unloading and hand balling of deliveries
• Producing dispatch paperwork and labels
• Liaising with transport companies to ensure daily collection targets are met
• Using handheld scanners to maintain high levels of accuracy
• Managing stock and preparing transfers for outbound deliveries
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or using MHE
• Moving between departments as required (production, bulk, e-commerce)

This role involves heavy lifting and physical work.
