Foot Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary : £48,000 per annum

Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm

Location : St James, London (4 sites)

Call Out : 1 in 15 rota

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Foot Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team, covering four prestigious sites in the St James area of London.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all sites
  • Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns
  • Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety guidelines
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report findings
  • Participate in a 1 in 15 call-out rota to provide out-of-hours support

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in mechanical building services maintenance (commercial environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, pumps, valves, and general mechanical plant
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 / 3, City & Guilds)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Foot mobile – must be comfortable travelling between sites on foot or via public transport
