Towpath Team Volunteer (Sharpness picnic area, 2nd Thursday every month)

Overview

Please note : Towpath Team normally meets every second Thursday. The session on Thursday 14th August has been moved to Wednesday 20th August.

Join us and work as part of a team to look after your local canal or river. You'll always be volunteering in a team in the great outdoors. You could be planting, painting, doing vegetation management, litter picking or any number of things.

The taster sessions are the 2nd Thursday of each month 11am-1pm. Once you have attended this session additional days are available.

At this session we will be promoting new volunteering opportunities around Sharpness Docks. There are no formal skills required and you have the chance to volunteer across lots of unique and beautiful environments.

It\'s a great chance to meet new people and learn about how we look after the canals and rivers. These teams are always led by one of our colleagues or Lead Volunteers who make sure that you have the best time and help care for the local waterways.
