- To be considered for this position you must hold a Full GMC registration and be on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
As the Consultant Psychiatrist your key responsibilities include :
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans alongside the multidisciplinary teamLead ward rounds, MDT meetings, and oversee complex clinical cases, including risk managementSupport patients and families with treatment planning, relapse prevention, and recoveryProvide supervision to junior staff and contribute to service quality, CQC compliance, and improvement initiativesCollaborate with site leadership to enhance service delivery and patient experienceThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :
Keen to participate in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation and management plansExperience of working in an inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficultiesCommunication and interpersonal skills are criticalAbility to show a can-do attitude alwaysThe successful Consultant Psychiatrist will receive an excellent salary of £180,000 per annum.
