Teaching Assistant – Finchley, North London

Are you passionate about education and eager to support young learners in reaching their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Finchley, North London.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will :

  • Provide classroom support to teachers across a range of subjects.
  • Work 1 : 1 or in small groups with pupils to aid learning and progress.
  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom management.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience working with children (school-based or similar setting) is desirable.
  • A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s education.
  • A desire to gain valuable school-based experience – ideal for aspiring teachers or education professionals.
