Salary : £35,000 – £45,000 + Overtime (1.5x)

Hours : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00am–5 : 00pm (1-hour lunch)

Location : Mobile role covering up to 1 hour around Chippenham

About the Company A long-established, family-run materials handling business is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their growing team. The company is known for its supportive environment, excellent customer reputation, and commitment to training and development.

The Role You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of forklift trucks and material-handling equipment. This is a field-based position covering customers located within approximately a 1-hour radius of Chippenham.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain a variety of forklift trucks and MHE equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Attend customer sites to complete breakdown repairs efficiently and professionally.
• Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and preventative servicing.
• Complete job documentation, service records and parts usage accurately.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication.
• Adhere to safety standards, company procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

Equipment You May Work On Experience with any of the following brands is desirable :

Candidates from forklift, plant, agricultural or heavy-equipment engineering backgrounds will also be considered.
