Job descriptionHoliday starting at 20 days plus a personal day rising to 22 days after 12 months (plus Bank holidays) Request flexible working from day one Colleague Clubcard benefits : 10% off and 15% at pay day weekends; save up to £2,000 a year with an additional card to share with family outside your home Access to free wellbeing services and resources Life cover of five times your pay and an award-winning pension with employer matching contributions up to 7.5% Benefits to suit you, including discounts, shares, and cycle to work schemes Uniform provided and policies to support you for life’s moments Access to colleague networks for diverse backgrounds Additional information about available benefits can be read in the applying process Ensuring the van and trays are clean and tidy Leaving the back yard clean and clear of rubbish; picking up litter as needed Washing trays as part of the tray wash process Loading the van as required and checking the van for roadworthiness Talking to the customer about any changes to their order, including substitutions; offering a refund for anything they are unhappy with Taking care of products / deliveries as if they were your own Explaining substitutions to the customer and ensuring they are not charged more Delivering during the customer's time slot Calling the customer before arriving if early Calling the store / centre if running 30 or more minutes late Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations and balance home and work Share ideas with your Manager and colleagues on store improvement A valid UK / EU / EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points

Pay and Hours
Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too.
The availability windows are the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you will have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility; if your available times match closely but not exactly, we would still love to hear from you.
