Build strong relationships across the business and with major retailer technical teams, influencing decisions and shaping processes.

Your Responsibilities Champion food safety and quality on-site, leading by example and promoting a strong culture throughout the business.

Manage, develop, and inspire your Technical Team, ensuring they have the skills, confidence, and motivation to deliver excellence.

Lead complex technical investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.

Oversee site preparation for audits and inspections, including customer and statutory audits.

Work cross-functionally to support NPD, innovation, and operational improvement projects.

Monitor and deliver Technical KPIs, driving continuous improvement and best practices.

What You'll Bring

Essential : BSc in Food Science or related discipline; Food Safety Level 4 & HACCP Level 4

Proven experience in FMCG or chilled food operations, ideally meat processing

Strong technical expertise in microbiology, hygiene, audits, and compliance

Demonstrable experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams

Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills

Desirable : Experience with major retailer technical requirements

Knowledge of raw meat processing, welfare standards, and continuous improvement tools

Proven ability to drive technical innovation and process improvements
