Key responsibilities :
Working safely at all times & escalating issues that present a hazard to yourself or others including all persons on site or members of the publicFollowing company / local site rules and adherence to company valuesRespond to breakdowns, systematically find faults, identify root cause and then implement solutions to prevent recurrence.Carry out planned maintenance and identify continuous improvements to increase equipment efficiency.Work with production, support groups and suppliers to implement improvement opportunities to increase equipment efficiency and safety and reduce engineering downtime.Identify and implement improvements to equipment to increase process robustness and reliability.Qualifications
Qualified Mechanic / Electrical / Multiskilled having served a recognised apprenticeship.Minimum NVQ level 3 / BTEC / City & GuildsMulti-skilled to some degree with credible, demonstrable electrical and / or mechanical experience in an industrial maintenance environment in addition to a core disciplinePneumatics, hydraulics demonstrable on the job experience is a requirementExperience & understanding of an automated process environment is essentialExperience or skills that would be desirable :
