What will I be doing?
Establishing a realistic short term supply plan that satisfies the MPS, direct customer orders and stock policy targets. To test the feasibility of the plan, by performing detailed capacity planning and resolving imbalances
Defining the supply parameters in the ERP item file within their scope of activity which are consistent with stock targets and the industrial strategy
- Participate in the MRP validation process then analyse and process exception messages (increase / decrease, progress, delay, cancel an order etc..) resulting from the
MRP
Confirm and communicate requirements and changes resulting from the MRP to the internal supplier by confirming any necessary modifications that are to be madeLaunch and sequence the production orders to reduce non value added time (Inc. subcontracting of phases) in line with ERP recommendations. Print the Routing Cards for ManufacturingReserve human and material resources and check the feasibility of the plan by carrying out detailed capacityplanning
Obtain acknowledgement from other UAP's for any changes or modifications to requirementsNegotiate dead-lines and quantities with internal suppliers within the limits of the service level agreement establishedProvide information and visibility necessary to the internal customers (grab list / load capacity) and suggest solutions in case of imbalancesMonitor and analyse the impacts of manufacturing defects in terms of yield and if necessary reschedule requirements to ensure commitments can be met, work with the external scheduler to ensure yield is factored into future planningEnsure the accuracy of the stock levels by monitoring the receipting of supplier deliveries and the closing of production orders to ensure that production schedules are updatedMeasure and analyse performance in coordination with the manufacturing unit using the defined metrics and provides the required weekly / monthly reportsAnalyse the root cause of metrics not at target level and work with the Manufacturing unit to develop the necessary action / recovery plansOversee the progress of manufacturing on the internal supplier's unit, manage delivery receipts, follow the flow through to reception of articles, manage administrative disputes and organise supplier returnsManage sub con processesOrganise visits where appropriate to the internal supplier's unit to discuss short term performance issuesEstablish and implement actions plans to limit uncertainties and hazards in the short term horizon and work with the internal supplier to shorten production cycles within their manufacturing processAnalyse the impacts of requests for technical modifications and other changes within their scope of activity and implement the action plans after these requests have been validatedResponsible for the closing and archiving of production ordersExceptional Company Benefits
