Job descriptionProven experience in disrepair surveying or a related field. A relevant qualification in surveying or construction (e.g., RICS or CIOB accreditation is advantageous). Strong knowledge of housing legislation and building standards. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive tenant concerns. A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities. Full driving license and access to a vehicle
Elevate projects are working in partnership with our client, a registered social landlord committed to providing safe, quality homes for tenants, to appoint an interim Disrepair Surveyor and help improve homes and communities within Wiltshire.
As a Disrepair Surveyor, you will :
- Conduct thorough property inspections to identify disrepair issues.
- Prepare accurate reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Liaise with tenants, contractors, and colleagues to resolve disrepair matters promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with housing regulations, policies, and health & safety standards.
- Monitor ongoing repair projects, ensuring they meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
