Interim Management Accountant

Our client is an established, well-known locally owned business group, with several business entities. With a fantastic culture which stems from business leaders, this would be an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to grow and develop their skills in an excellent working environment.

Your new roleWorking with the Financial Controller, you will take the responsibility of producing the accounts and the commercial support given to several legal entities. Your duties will cover, but are not limited to :

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for each Group company in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconciliation & review of balance sheet accounts.
• Being the business partner to the internal customers of the business, answering financial queries & becoming a trusted source of advice, supporting budget holders in achieving financial targets.
• Review and refine end-to-end financial processes and controls, ensuring best practice in all we do.
• Compliance on legal / regulatory compliance / returns in the UK & ROI. E.g., VAT returns, government surveys, company filing.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant who can demonstrate good communication skills and a drive and desire to learn. You will have strong numerical skills with a focus on accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
