About the Role

As a removals driver / porter, youll take full responsibility for the company vehicle, ensuring every load is transported safely and efficiently from collection to delivery. Youll also assist with packing, loading, and unloading, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle safely and reliably, taking responsibility for the vehicle and its load at all times.
• Carry out daily vehicle and safety checks, perform routine maintenance (oil, water, etc.), and report any defects.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and compliant with Road Traffic Legislation and operating limits.
• Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Safe Systems at Work procedures, and Quality System policies (ISO9002).
• Accurately complete all required vehicle and delivery paperwork..
• Recommend improvements to loading and unloading processes to the Operations Controller.
