We are working with a large, high-achieving secondary school with a strong focus on inclusion and student wellbeing to recruit a Learning Support Assistant . The role involves supporting pupils across KS3–KS5 , working closely with teaching staff, the SEN team, and pastoral leads.

The role
Provide 1 : 1 and small group support for students with SEN or additional learning needs
Support pupils to access a challenging, academic curriculum
Assist in maintaining focus, confidence, and engagement in lessons
Support emotional regulation and independence where required
Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams

The ideal candidate
Experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, tutoring, etc.)
Calm, patient, and proactive approach
Confident supporting SEN and SEMH needs
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
